The Best & Fastest Way To Clean Hard Water Glass Shower Doors

 I've been searching for a good way to clean residue left by our very hard water from our glass shower door.  After trying multiple products and lots of searching and some trial and error, I found two that work great.  You can see a side by side test below- I let the hard water buildup get very noticeable (it is For Science, after all!).  The products I love are Barkeepers Friend powder (apply a little bit with a wet rag or sponge, scrub all over, then rinse).  After, I sometimes give it a quick second clean with window cleaner spray (like Windex) and microfiber cloth.  The other product that does an awesome job is CLR foaming bathroom cleaner.  I generally don't like cleaners with a strong chemical odor but I find this to to be pretty mild and, for what it's worth, says on the label "EPA Safer Choice."  You can see in the comparison both Barkeeper's Friend and CLR do a great job, and to compare, the window cleaner does very little for the hard water stains on its own.

Trader Joe's Gingerbread Molasses Cookie Dough

I grabbed this, on a whim, among many other things, during my last shopping trip to Trader Joe's. 

I may have made a sound like *squeeee* when I found there was a sugar packet inside to roll them in... just like my grandma did.  They were awesome.  

October Klutchbox Review

October's Klutchbox arrived, and I was surprised to see so many duplicates- the Nature's Gate body wash, Pop Chips and the tea, and I can't remember if I've gotten the Greek yogurt tubes before.  Can you actually have live cultures in a shelf-stable pack like that?  The beverage is something I don't drink as well, it's sweetened with Sucralose.  Hmmm.

Rocky Mountain Deliciousness Factory

I am obsessed with this store, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, the only one I have ever seen is in the Charlotte airport.  They have every possible awesome combination of apples dipped in melted things and rolled in tasty things ever.... from your basic caramel and nuts, to melted fudge, peanut butter cups and marshmallows...  mmmmm

Someone had described a berry colander the were using to me recently and I thought how useful it could be... we have been eating lots of berries lately.  Wow there are some gorgeous ones on etsy.  I have also been really into cooking bacon in the microwave and am interested in the contraptions available.

I am lusting after these cowhide print placemats at CB2 by good ol Chilewich.  Not cheap at twenty bucks a pop... maybe I can fill in with these ...
