This monster/caterpillar ate 2 whole tomatoes!! Eeeeek. I have instituted a new program of monitoring, using soap spray and diatomaceous earth. So far, so good.

Final cake from Wilton Fondant class. We got to do whatever we wanted, so I went for a vibrant color scheme.

 

Best Cappucino in town. This machine is awesome. Not as cute as some, but it really does the job.

 

First cake (a technique sampler with the handkerchief overlay, the drape, and the border) from the Wilton Fondant class. I used this fondant recipe because it is cheaper and tastier than buying the fondant.

I spent quite some time looking for nice flowers to send yesterday and finally landed at teleflora- I really like their arrangements, and the nice clean site!

 

Final cake, from Wilton class #1. Phew, it was stressful! Next up: Fondant and Gum Paste class. I will not miss that Crisco and sugar frosting!
